Why Regenerative Dairy

Why Regenerative Dairy

Regenerative farming is an approach focused on regenerating the land rather than simply depleting it. By rebuilding soil health and increasing biodiversity though crop rotation and limiting or eliminating plowing (no-till farming), and instead using livestalk such as cows to graze and naturally fertilize the land, the soil is able to naturally increase its nutrient profile and biodiversity. This results in restoration or preservation of the ecosystem and rebuilding of the topsoil, which enables the capture, or sequestration, of carbon from the atmosphere to help fight climate change. This improves water retention in the soil and naturally enhances crop resilience.

Healthier soil, better pasture, and animals raised the way nature intended them to live. The result is dairy that's richer, more nutrient-dense, and connected to a way of doing things that actually makes long-term sense. What's good for the land is good for us, and what ends up in the pint.
